English immersion English immersion is the best way or perhaps the only way to learn English.

Maybe you have tried an English immersion class before but classes are not the only way to become immersed in the English language.

There is a much more fun and interesting way to learn through English immersion.

Summer is here and it's a great time to travel and see the United States. If you do it right, you can also improve your English through traveling and talking with people that you meet along the way.

In this conversation, I spoke with another native English speaker to find out his recommendations for some great places to travel in the western United States.

Tips for English immersion through travel:

  • Try to travel alone. Why? Because you are much more likely to start conversations and practice your English with new people if you are alone. If you decide to travel in a group, travel with native English speakers if possible.
  • Go to places where you are likely to run into American people- smaller towns instead of big cities
  • Ride trains and busses more often than taking a car so that you will have more opportunities to practice your English with people on the train

"My classes with English and Culture have been awesome. I have been taking the classes for almost two months, twice a week and I am really happy about my improvement. Now I feel more comfortable and secure when speaking English and more fluent, too."
